About my Beads and Jewellery
Thank you for your interest in my handmade jewellery and lampwork glass beads.
I
love playing with hot glass. The design and color possibilities are
endless, and there is so much experimenting to do. I use soft glass
(soda lime) to create my beads. Because each bead is completely made by
hand, each is unique and no two will ever be exactly the same. When a
bead is complete, it will go straight into a digitally controlled kiln
for several hours to anneal. Annealing removes stresses in the glass
that are formed from heating and cooling the glass. This process will
strengthen the bead and reduce spontaneous cracks. So you can be
assured that your bead/s will last a lifetime.
My jewellery designs are unique,
multifunctional and fun to wear. I want you to feel beautiful and good
about yourself whatever and wherever you may be. Many of my pieces are
'one of' and even if I use a similar design or color wave, the piece
you will own will be unique to you.
I make a selection of jewellery to suit every taste and budget. Most of my lampwork beads and jewellery can be found on this website.
